The Post formats are used to better display the contents of the posts on the archive pages. You can select the needed format when editing post.
Standard format
This is a default post format in WordPress.
Video format
It is used to display live video, instead of displaying a preview image. Post with "Video" format uses the first found video shortcode (or embed video) in the post content.
Audio format
It is used to display live audio, instead of displaying a preview image. Post with "Audio" format uses the first found audio shortcode (or embed audio) in the post content.
Quote format
If you select this format, additional meta fields appear. Write in them the quote and the author of the quote (you can leave it blank).
Records of this format will be appropriately highlighted in the archive and in the single post page.

If you select this format, additional meta field appear. Write URL here.

Gallery format
It is used to display gallery, instead of displaying a one preview image. Post with "Gallery" format uses the first found Default WordPress Gallery shortcode in the post content.
