Saved search queries
Supported search-result URLs are recognized from their address and query parameters. Groovy displays the search engine and the saved query locally instead of requesting a screenshot of a CAPTCHA-protected results page.
This applies to supported URL formats, not every arbitrary page on a search engine's domain. A very long query should remain readable within the tile layout.
PDF previews
For accessible PDFs, Groovy can extract first-page text or render the first page of a scanned document. It needs permission and network or local-file access to read the PDF.
An inaccessible, removed, or moved file cannot be previewed just because its bookmark remains. A file:// bookmark stores a path, not a copy of the PDF. If opening it shows ERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND, locate the actual file and update or replace the bookmark. Do not assume DOC/DOCX preview support from the PDF feature.
YouTube and VK Video
Supported video URLs display a play action. Open a video in Groovy's player, move or resize it, or minimize it while browsing other bookmarks. This is a compact player inside the workspace, not a separate operating-system picture-in-picture window.
Use Open on YouTube or the original-site action when you want to continue there. The YouTube handoff uses the available playback time and stops playback in the embedded player.
Some videos forbid embedding, require sign-in, are region restricted, or have been removed. If the embedded player reports an error, open the original page. A general VK catalog page is not necessarily a playable video URL.
