Standard bookmark search
Type part of a bookmark title, URL, or domain into bookmark search. Standard search is included in Free and does not require an AI key. The folder selector also has its own folder search.
The latest local development build adds folder results to main global search, including empty folders and duplicate names with their paths. Older customer packages may not yet show those results. Locked folder contents stay hidden until unlocked.
Search by meaning — PRO
Semantic search can find related bookmarks even when the words in the query do not exactly match the saved title. Page-content search needs an index of the relevant pages; it cannot infer unread content merely because a URL was saved.
- Open the AI section in Settings and enter your own OpenRouter API key.
- Select the supported search model and review the data-use explanation.
- Run the page-indexing action for the pages you want to include. Pages that cannot be accessed or read may not be indexed.
- Run semantic search with a description of what you want to find, then open the relevant result.
AI folder organization — PRO
Select bookmarks and run the AI organization action. Groovy suggests existing destination folders. Review the suggestions and approve the moves you want; it does not silently reorganize the library.
The organization model and semantic search model serve different tasks. Model availability and billing depend on OpenRouter. Use the descriptions next to these settings to choose compatible models.
An active Groovy PRO license does not automatically include an OpenRouter balance. During Early Access, use your own key and pay OpenRouter for its model usage. Do not assume included Groovy AI credits are available unless explicitly offered for your account.
Bookmark data and indexed text needed for an AI action may be sent to the selected service when you run that action. Do not index sensitive pages without reviewing the data involved.
