Groovy displays the search engine and the saved query locally instead of requesting a screenshot of a CAPTCHA-protected results page.<\/p>\n<p>This applies to supported URL formats, not every arbitrary page on a search engine&#8217;s domain. A very long query should remain readable within the tile layout.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"pdf-previews\">PDF previews<\/h2>\n<p>For accessible PDFs, Groovy can extract first-page text or render the first page of a scanned document. It needs permission and network or local-file access to read the PDF.<\/p>\n<p>An inaccessible, removed, or moved file cannot be previewed just because its bookmark remains. A <code>file:\/\/<\/code> bookmark stores a path, not a copy of the PDF. If opening it shows <strong>ERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND<\/strong>, locate the actual file and update or replace the bookmark. Do not assume DOC\/DOCX preview support from the PDF feature.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"youtube-and-vk-video\">YouTube and VK Video<\/h2>\n<p>Supported video URLs display a play action. Open a video in Groovy&#8217;s player, move or resize it, or minimize it while browsing other bookmarks. This is a compact player inside the workspace, not a separate operating-system picture-in-picture window.<\/p>\n<p>Use <strong>Open on YouTube<\/strong> or the original-site action when you want to continue there. The YouTube handoff uses the available playback time and stops playback in the embedded player.<\/p>\n<p>Some videos forbid embedding, require sign-in, are region restricted, or have been removed. If the embedded player reports an error, open the original page.
