For each category of blog, you can set individual preferences. To do this, go to the admin panel in the "Posts > Categories", select the category of interest and start editing it. Now, to approve custom settings, check the option "Override global settings".
Almost all settings are shown from the General archive settings. Here the value "Default" means that the option will be taken from the global settings.
